what we do with your data.

cooked.fyi scores how likely AI is to take your job from a short voice interview. Here's what that involves.

Who can see what

Your results, meaning your full score breakdown, summary and advice, are visible only to you. The only thing other people can see is your entry on the leaderboard, unless you choose to share a result.

If you tap Share on a result, that result gets a public link. Anyone with the link, or with an image you post, can see your username, score, tier and verdict. The verdict is a few sentences about your score and can mention things you said in the interview. Your score breakdown, history, job title and industry are not shared. Results you don't share stay private.

Every completed interview appears on the leaderboard, showing your username, job title, industry and score. We don't show your Google name or email address.

What we keep from your interview

You sign in with Google only to prevent spam and fake identities. When you do, we receive your name, email address and profile picture.

After your interview is scored, we keep a written summary: your score, a verdict, a short note on each scoring dimension, and advice. We don't keep the conversation itself. The conversation is deleted once an interview is scored.

The summary can include specifics you mentioned, such as names, clients and figures. Only you can see it. We use it to show you how your result changes if you take the interview again.

Voice and who processes it

Your voice. Your answers are voice recordings. Each one is sent to Groq to be turned into text. We don't store the audio.

Your answers. The text of your answers is sent to Google's Gemini to ask the next question and to score you. Google handles that data under the Gemini API terms.

Everything else. Sign-in is through Google, the site is hosted on Vercel, and your scores and summaries are stored in a Neon database.

Don't share what you shouldn't

Because your summary can keep what you say, don't mention client names, confidential employer information or other people's personal details unless you're comfortable with them being in it.

Selling, sharing and cookies

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with employers or advertisers.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There is no advertising and no third-party analytics on the site.

The survey after your interview

After your interview we may ask a few optional questions: how you'd rate the interview experience, why if you rated it low, which features interest you, and any comments. Your answers are saved with that interview.
